We have seen an unebelievable rise in the popularity of side saddle riding in the last year. It seems that just about everyone wants to give this very elegant of all riding disciplines a try; from the 10 year old little girls to the mature lady. This revival is not just located in England either, we have had requests to supply side saddle habits from the USA, Switzerland, Spain, Austrlalia and I am delighted to report that we have been able to provide just what these ladies wanted.
We specialise in pure wool habits. Our habits are tailored by a very experienced and professional tailor called Jonathan Moore, who works for the Savile Row tailor Orri's Equestrian Department http://www.orri.org.uk and are sold under the brand name of Huntingtons.
The woollen cloth is pure worsted wool and is woven by one of the best woollen mills in England called Hield http://www.hield.co.uk/ They are located in Yorkshire where the best sheep roam.
We do however offer a more economical option and therefore also stock habits which are made from a wool blend. Again very high quality and this cloth is woven by Reid and Taylor. Our habits are so appealing and correct that we have been chosen as the Official Suppliers for the International Side Saddle Organisation. We are very very proud of that achievement.
